The oil pump gasket is a key component in the lubrication system of an internal combustion engine. It is typically manufactured by laser cutting or professional forming of low-carbon steel, stainless steel, or composite coated metal sheets. Its main function is to block leakage paths during high-pressure oil delivery. Simultaneously, its precise thickness compensates for machining errors at the mating surfaces, ensuring pressure stability during pump operation. The large central hole of the oil pump gasket accommodates the pump drive shaft, while the surrounding smaller holes precisely align with the cylinder block oil passages and pump mounting bolts, ensuring unobstructed oil flow and secure installation. Its irregular shape allows it to perfectly conform to the contours of the pump-cylinder mating surfaces, and the extended lugs on the edges can be used to assist or accommodate additional sealing requirements. The overall thickness of the oil pump gasket is strictly controlled within 0.2–0.5 mm, and the surface is smoothed to ensure a perfect fit.

CNC stamping presses or fiber laser cutting machines are used to process the selected sheets into the designed contours. Hole tolerances are controlled within ±0.02mm to ensure precise matching with the oil pump.

Surface Treatment:
The surface undergoes electroplating zinc treatment to enhance rust resistance. A rubber micro-coating can also be applied to further improve sealing redundancy.

Dimensional and Performance Testing:
After production, the contour accuracy is checked using a coordinate measuring machine, and the sealing pressure resistance is tested using a pressure testing machine.

Oil pump gaskets that have passed inspection are packaged in oil- and moisture-proof packaging to prevent damage during transportation.
