The raw material for galvanized corner brackets is primarily cold-rolled steel sheet, but hot-rolled steel sheet or stainless steel sheet can also be selected depending on the application. The three base materials have different properties and applicable scenarios: cold-rolled steel sheet has high flatness and dimensional accuracy, suitable for stamping into various complex hole shapes; hot-rolled steel sheet has higher strength and stronger load-bearing capacity; and stainless steel is precisely suited for highly corrosive environments. Galvanized corner brackets are manufactured using precision stamping and cold bending technology, ensuring the right-angle accuracy is controlled within ±0.5°. The edges are also deburred to prevent hand injuries during installation. The surface of Galvanized corner brackets achieves rust and corrosion resistance through a galvanizing process. There are two galvanizing processes: hot-dip galvanizing and electro-galvanizing. Hot-dip galvanizing involves immersing the formed product in molten zinc, forming a zinc-iron alloy layer on the metal surface. This layer is 80-120μm thick and offers strong corrosion resistance, maintaining stability even in humid outdoor environments over long periods. Electro-galvanizing, on the other hand, forms a zinc layer on the bracket through electrolysis, with a thickness of 5-20μm. Electro-galvanizing produces a smooth, aesthetically pleasing zinc layer and is less expensive than hot-dip galvanizing.
